Will I need to provide a model on the day of my course?

On all of the female courses, students wax each other, so you don't need to bring a model. I do have a list of male models but you will also need to make the effort to find a model. Ask yourself this..........if you can't find just one model, how will you find clients? Gumtree is a good place to advertise for models and it's free.

I can't be waxed, so what shall I do?
If your hair has been lasered or you have a medical condition that prevents you from being waxed, don't worry! You just need to bring a friend/model along on the day.

Can my model stay in the training room for the whole day?
I'm afraid not! Space is limited and it also isn't fair on students that have paid for the training. Models will only be in the room for the time that they are being waxed. They're welcome to stay in the salon or there are plenty of shops around.

Is the course an automatic PASS?
No, it isn't. I keep my standards high but I do make allowances for nerves. I don't expect you to be an expert on the day...........you wouldn't be coming for training if you were. However, I need to see that you have a good grasp of my technique and most importantly, that you're not going to go off and tear someone's skin.

What happens if I fail?
You will be invited to come back FREE OF CHARGE at a later date. If you haven't improved, then you will need to re-train.

Can I say that I'm KIM LAWLESS TRAINED?
Of course! You can say so on any of your literature or website. However, to do this you must display your certificates. You can only say that you are KIM LAWLESS TRAINED in the particular technique that I trained you in. So for example, if you trained with me in only Female Brazilians, you can't imply that you trained with me in Male Brazilians or any of my other courses.

Can I teach my friends and colleagues your technique?
No! I developed my own techniques and you are paying me to teach only you.  You can't go off and train anyone else in my technique...............even if it's for free!

I'm a tutor, can I teach your technique on my courses?
No! You can't even hint that the technique that you are teaching them is the KIM LAWLESS method.

Can I use stuff from your website?
Please don't! I have software that notifies me when people copy stuff from my site. Besides anything else, clients must be sick of reading the same thing. With respect, I took the time and effort to write it all and it's so obviously my personality. Please be original and don't copy anything from my site at all.

How do I book a course?
You need to choose a couple of dates that would suit you before you call; just in case your first choice if full. You must pay in full when you book by debit/credit card. If you really can't pay in full up front, then speak to me and I'll see what I can do.

Can you hold a course place for me while I check that I can make it?
I'm afraid that I can't for this reason. With the best intentions, people ask me to hold dates for them on the promise that they'll get back to me to confirm. I'm so busy that I forget all about it and before you know it, the course date is upon us and I then realise that I've been turning people away that wanted that date as I thought it full, when in fact there's a place available.

Do you award a certificate?
Yes, and my courses are accredited by BABTAC. They are also recognised in their own right by all insurers.

When do you send out certificates?
They are sent out once a month in batches, so you'll receive it within 4 weeks of your training.

When do you send out receipts?
A receipt is sent out with your certificate. In the meantime, your bank statement will also act as a receipt and will say Kim Lawless 'The Wax Queen'.

Just so you know..........I don't have any Kim Lawless Trainers at this moment in time, so don't be fooled by cheap imitations and people claiming that they can teach you my technique.
